My father
When Joseph Earl White was born in 1934 in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, his father, Stephen, was 33 and his mother, Mary, was 26. He had four sons and five daughters with Dorothy Jean white. He died in 1970 in Happy Valley, Newfoundland and Labrador, at the age of 36.

 

My maternal grandmother
When Mary Ethel White was born in 1908 in St George’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, her father, James, was 27, and her mother, Catherine, was 19. She had one son with Stephen M White in 1934. She died in 1991 in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, at the age of 83.

 

Great grandmother
When Catherine Alvina Gaudon White was born on February 4, 1889, in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, her father, Maxim, was 33, and her mother, Catherine, was 28. She had five sons and four daughters with James Alfred White between 1906 and 1926. She died on November 15, 1953, in her hometown at the age of 64.

 

2nd great grandmother
When Marie Louise Marche was born in September 1842 in Port au Port, Newfoundland and Labrador, her father, Jean, was 42, and her mother, Marie, was 39. She married Simon Leblanc on February 11, 1861, in Sandy Point, Newfoundland and Labrador. They had eight children in 24 years. She died in 1921 in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, having lived a long life of 79 years.

 

3rd great grandmother
When Marie Martha LeJeune was born in 1803 in Nova Scotia, her father, Jacques, was 29, and her mother, Catherine, was 16. She married Jean Marie Francois Marche in 1818 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. They had one child during their marriage. She died on November 8, 1859, at the age of 56.

 

4th great grandmother and grandfather
When Catherine Jesseau\ Josseaume\ Jesso\ Jesseaume\Jessome\ Japeau was born on February 19, 1787, in St Pierre, Puy-de-Dôme, France, her father, Jean, was 43. She married Jacques James Fiddler Young LeJeune Sr in 1803 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. They had 20 children in 33 years. She died on June 19, 1847, at the age of 60.

 

4th great grandfather
When Jacques James Fiddler Young LeJeune Sr was born in 1774 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, his father, Christophe, was 35 and his mother, Louise, was 37. He married Catherine Jesseau\ Josseaume\ Jesso\ Jesseaume\Jessome\ Japeau in 1803 in his hometown. They had 20 children in 33 years. He died on February 25, 1872, in Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland and Labrador, at the impressive age of 98.
