My Mother
When Dorothy Jean White was born on March 4, 1931,in Lourds N.L. her father, John, was 44, and her mother, Anne, was 37. She married Joseph Earl White in 1953 in Newfoundland and Labrador. They had nine children during their marriage. She died on January 21, 2004, in Amherst, Nova Scotia, at the age of 72.

Maternal grandmother
When Anne Ellen Hynes was born on May 7, 1893, her father, William, was 39, and her mother, Florence, was 20. She married John Edward LeBlanc on August 30, 1910, in Port au Port, Newfoundland and Labrador. They had 11 children in 25 years. She died on July 17, 1971, at the age of 78, and was buried in West Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador.

She married Yves Bourdoulon February 20, 1868, in Sandy Point, Newfoundland and Labradorand they had three children together. . She died on June 13, 1937, in Newfoundland and Labrador at the age of 88.

She married Louis Benoit in 1830. They had 28 children in 26 years. She died in 1858 in Newfoundland and Labrador at the age of 40.
